A tool, not a course · run it this afternoon

Find the money hiding between your systems.

Three 15-minute monthly checks and four copy-paste AI prompts. They are the exact checks that surfaced $33,456 in one small business: 35% of its annual revenue, sitting in the gaps between software that all said everything was fine.

$29 once · yours forever · if one clean run shows you nothing worth more than $29, I refund it and you keep the kit

The problem nobody's software reports

Each of your systems says everything is fine. The leaks live between them.

In the business this kit comes from, every dollar of loss sat in a gap between two systems that do not talk to each other:

The route software knew the haul happened. Stripe knew the invoice. Accounting knew neither. The largest invoice in company history vanished from the books: $13,013.
Payroll software knew the wages. The bank feed knew the withdrawal. Nothing knew they were the same event, so payroll was expensed twice for ten months: $15,415.67.
The delivery tracker knew the orders shipped. Invoicing did not. Four delivered orders were never billed at all: $768.
A tax notice nobody could interpret hid four quarters of unpaid payroll tax, with a $1,100.20 credit sitting right beside it that would have been paid twice.

If you run your business across a payment processor, accounting software, payroll, and any kind of job or delivery system, you have these gaps. The only question is what is sitting in them.

Old way, new way

Your bookkeeper reconciles inside each system. Nobody reconciles between them.

The old way

  • Each app reconciled on its own, each one reporting clean
  • Errors compound quietly for months; the big one above ran ten months undetected
  • You find out at tax time, or never
  • The books can be wrong by a third of revenue while looking fine

The Gap Audit way

  • Three cross-system checks, fifteen minutes, once a month
  • Either check catches the two biggest error types inside thirty days instead of ten months
  • AI prompts do the line-by-line digging; you approve, nothing moves without you
  • A found-money log that turns the ritual into the best hourly rate in your business
What lands in your inbox

Four tools, one afternoon.

The Gap Map

A ten-minute exercise that turns your software list into a map of exactly where your money can leak. You will find gaps you did not know you had.

The Three Checks worksheet

The monthly close ritual: three comparisons, fifteen minutes, printable. Run monthly, it cuts undetected time for the two big error types by about 90%.

Four operator prompts

Copy-paste prompts for Claude or any capable AI: the receivables sweep, the payroll double-book check, the lapsed-service sweep, and the notice reader. Each one is credited with a real find, printed next to it.

The worked example + log

The real audit that found the $33,456, finding by finding, so you know what a hit looks like. Plus the found-money log template. Bonus: the two-paragraph note on how Hope runs it.

$33,456

found by this reconciliation layer in fifteen months at Loving Earth Compost, a small farm business in Greenwich, NY. Against $95,589 in annual revenue and $22,500 of owner pay.

149%

of the owner's entire annual pay, found by the system in a single year

35%

of annual revenue, recovered or protected in findings

30%

of revenue: how wrong the books were. A reported $9,868 loss was actually an $18,561 profit

10 months

the payroll double-expense ran undetected. The monthly checks catch it inside 30 days

Source: the Loving Earth OS proof package, compiled Aug 31, 2026. QuickBooks Online read live Aug 30 to 31, a Stripe export of 2,219 transactions, route software records, payroll registers, and dated correspondence. Findings counted once each; one earlier claim that failed verification was removed and the total was restated downward before publication. Honesty is the operating system.

Will this work for me

Built for owner-operators who are their own back office.

This is for you if

  • You run 30 to a few hundred customers with no office manager
  • Money flows through two or more systems (processor, accounting, payroll, jobs or routes or bookings)
  • You have a nagging feeling about unbilled work you cannot prove
  • You would spend one afternoon to know for certain

Skip it if

  • A controller already reconciles across your systems monthly (give them the checks anyway, they will nod)
  • Every dollar you earn arrives through one single system, one gap-free pipe
  • You want someone else to run it for you: that is the one-day install, not the kit
The One-Run Guarantee: run the checks once. If they surface nothing worth more than the $29, reply to your receipt and I refund it. You keep the kit either way. Your number might genuinely be zero; then you have proof your systems agree, which is worth more than the kit costs. In my business, it was not zero.

Fair questions

Do I need AI for this to work?
No. The Gap Map and the Three Checks are pen-and-paper. The four operator prompts are the accelerator: they do the line-by-line digging in minutes if you use Claude or a similar assistant. The kit is written so either path works.
I have a bookkeeper. Is this redundant?
Ask them one question: who reconciles the payroll register against the P&L, and the ops system against receivables, monthly? In the source business a competent setup still ran a double-expense for ten months, because each system reconciled clean on its own. If your bookkeeper already does cross-system checks, skip the kit or hand it to them as a checklist.
How is this different from the free seed file?
The seed file builds you a general operator from scratch and is free forever. The Gap Audit is one sharpened blade: the specific checks and prompts for finding leaked money, with the real worked example. Many people run both.
Why is it $29 when it found $33,456?
Because the front door should be easy to walk through. The dollar amounts in my business are small-business dollars; the ratios are what transfer. If the kit works on your business the way the system worked on mine, you will remember who sent it.
What happens after I order?
A real person (me, Hope) sends your Stripe invoice within one business hour, Eastern time. Pay it, and the kit arrives the same day as plain files you keep. If you ever want the full operator installed in a day, that door is open too, and the kit's price comes off the install.
